Stoneham Select Board signs 14-article warrant for fall Special Town Meeting in a seven-minute session. Chair Heidi Bilbo, Vice Chair David P. Pignone Jr., Clerk Ryan Foreman and Member Troy M.
Lau voted unanimously to accept and sign the warrant; Member Raymie Parker did not appear on the roll call. Town staffer Dennis told the board article one moves development impact assessment rules from the general bylaws to the zoning bylaws at the suggestion of the attorney general's office, while a data center moratorium stays "the same" pending town meeting discussion. A second citizen's petition was excluded after the town clerk found its signature pages lacked the proposed article text, a call Dennis said "the select board can't change." The Finance Advisory Board must deliver budget-article recommendations within the week.
Bilbo closed by calling it "probably a record meeting."
