Finance Board Re-elects Memmolo, Adds 3 Members

Stoneham's Finance & Advisory Board re-elected Michael Memmolo as chair at its annual reorganization meeting. The board unanimously returned Joseph Joffe as vice chair and Jim Wilson as secretary, and seated three new members: Ryan Robinson, chief financial officer at biotech firm Beacon Therapeutics; Brendan Dowdle, a fintech CPA; and returning member George Drugas, senior vice president at Union Bank. New member Robinson said he joined to "marry my professional and personal lives together." All 11 members attended despite roughly 25 minutes of technical trouble connecting remote member Rod Allen.

The board reassigned budget-department liaison groups, discussed redefining a dormant "finance matrix" subcommittee around override compliance, and set meeting dates through January 2027, including Aug. 3, Sept. 14 and Oct. 5.
