Stoneham Shuttle Riders Must Switch Apps Starting August 1
STONEHAM — Beginning August 1, Stoneham Shuttle riders will need to book rides through a new mobile app, the town announced, while the Scholarship Committee has pushed back its $1,000 application deadline to August 7.

Starting August 1, 2026, all Stoneham Shuttle rides will need to be requested through the new Ride Circuit mobile app, replacing the Circuit Transit Stoneham app currently in use, according to a town News Flash notice. Riders who rely on the shuttle for errands, medical appointments or other trips should download the new app ahead of the switchover to avoid disruption.
Separately, the Town of Stoneham Scholarship Committee has extended its application deadline to August 7 for residents pursuing an educational goal who wish to be considered for a $1,000 scholarship. The town's homepage also carries standing alerts about a confirmed spotted lanternfly infestation in Stoneham and West Nile virus detected in local mosquitoes, both flagged by the Massachusetts Department of Agriculture and local health officials.
