Stoneham Posts Unofficial Primary Results As Markey, Minogue Advance

Stoneham election officials posted unofficial results from Tuesday's State Primary as U.S. Sen. Ed Markey turned back a challenge from U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton and Republican Brian Minogue won his party's nod for governor, according to Patch. The town's own results, still marked unofficial, are posted on the town website.

TOWN HALL

The Town Clerk's Office posted unofficial results from Tuesday's State Primary in a News Flash update Tuesday night, covering Stoneham's tallies in the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, U.S. Senate and U.S. House races (see stoneham-ma.gov). The office, which closed Tuesday for the election, reopened by 10 a.m. Wednesday.

SCHOOLS

Stoneham Public Schools ran a fourth transportation lottery drawing Aug. 31 after one additional bus seat opened, filling the last of four seats made available through the district's summer lottery process. District officials said on the schools website that another drawing will be held if further seats open up.
