Stoneham Home Sales Range From $252,000 To $855,000 In Late-Summer Deed Activity
Stoneham recorded 19 property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only eight listed a sale price, ranging from $252,000 to $855,000 with a median of $427,500. The top recorded sale was 34 Oak St. at $855,000, followed by 48 MacArthur Rd. at $840,000. Main Street saw four separate condominium unit sales during the period. At least seven of the 11 transfers without a disclosed price were transfers of property into a family trust rather than sales to unrelated buyers, a pattern that shows up regularly in deed records and does not by itself indicate broader market conditions.
