Stoneham Select Board unanimously approves $1.2M water main replacement loan from MWRA. On February 4, the three-member board authorized $1,242,000 in MWRA borrowing for water main component replacement between Main Street and Maple Street, with work slated to begin in April. Treasurer Paulette Gerry noted the town had approved the loan at the October 2025 Town Meeting.
The borrowing carries a 10-year repayment schedule at zero percent interest.
